This is the very heavy duty/reliable 24-HR Timer that is included with the purchase of every sliding and flap design Automatic Chicken Coop Door. This timer is very easy & safe to use around poultry.
Chickens begin heading into the coop when the sun starts to go down. This is because they are naturally blind in the dark so they go into the coop for safety. Be sure to leave your chickens at least 30 mins after you see the last chicken goes in to be sure none of them get locked outside after you set the door to automatically close.

Instructions: To use timer pull up all pins except two. One at the open time EX 7am and one at the closing time EX 8pm. At this time only two pins should be pushed in. Now rotate the “time now” arrow to the current time of day and be sure the switch on top is flipped to the “Timer On” option.
